ICEERS Support Center has extensive experience supporting people going through difficult processes with psychoactive plants. Offer up to 5 free online support sessions conducted by trained professionals. This support service is a complement to, but not a replacement for, medical, psychological or psychiatric attention. Confidential support and information Line to talk to someone about ICP. Our befrienders are not counsellors, nor can they make a diagnosis or give you advice about what to do. They can provide a listening ear and share what helped them get through an ICP pregnancy. Further support from ICP includes facebook groups and online Zoom meetings.

Independent Domestic Abuse Services (IDAS) - Domestic Abuse Helpline

Confidential out of hours helpline available to anyone, both men and women, who have experienced or are experiencing domestic abuse. The Team can talk to you about your situation and agree what support you need. This can include anything from helping you through the criminal justice system, giving you information on benefits and housing, providing emotional support or referring you on for counselling. Your safety is of paramount concern; the helpline Team will help you form a plan that will help you feel safer. Support can be offered on a one to one basis or in a group. If you don’t want to meet in person IDAS can also help over the phone or via email. Further support includes signposting to solicitors, counsellors and other specialist agencies.

Provide a comprehensive, tailored service for employers with a focus on improving the mental wellbeing of individuals and organisations. Can provide EAP counselling services including legal, financial, immediate and structured telephone counselling, face to face counselling and training services. Employers need to be registered with Inspire for employees to use the service.

Confidential helpline staffed by LGBT+ practitioners who work to our strong standards of confidentiality, client protection, and positive listening. The Team can offer a non-judgemental, listening ear, and can signpost to other services and relevant information depending on the issues presented. We can also offer further support through our own LGBT+ specialist services such as our Support & Advocacy team and low-cost counselling. We work with LGBT+ individuals of all ages, their friends and family, and other professionals and organisations that aim to be more inclusive in their practice. Calls to the 0800 helpline are free from landlines and mobiles in the UK. For callers who prefer to call a direct landline, you can get through to the same helpline phone on 01392 201018.

International Seafarers’ Welfare and Assistance Network (ISWAN) - SeafarerHelp

SeafarerHelp is a helpline operated by ISWAN, an international charity dedicated to the welfare of seafarers and their families no matter where they are in the world. SeafarerHelp is a free, multi-lingual service that works with other organisations around the world to help seafarers. The helpline team can deal with issues including unpaid wages, repatriation problems, contract problems, bullying, poor working conditions, health and personal welfare issues. All the main languages are spoken. ISWAN also administers the Seafarers Emergency Fund, produces health information for seafarers and undertakes research. IPSEA - Independent Provider of Special Education Advice

IPSEA offers free and independent legally based information, advice and support to help get the right education for children and young people with all kinds of special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). Further support includes suite of free downloadable legal guides and resources available to parents and carers. These guides are complemented by a free Advice Line which provides legally based information and next step advice on any educational issue. IPSEA’s Tribunal Helpline gives next step advice on appeals and disability discrimination claims to the SEND Tribunal and is also the gateway to a Tribunal Support Service where a referral can be made for more extensive casework support from a volunteer, including representation at the hearing. IPSEA also provides legal training for parents, school staff, parent carer forums, support groups and other organisations in order to increase their knowledge and understanding of the SEND legal framework.

The Irish Cancer Society Support Line is a supportive information service staffed by experienced cancer nurses where anyone concerned about cancer can get trusted information and advice about any type of cancer. Nurses are here to support cancer patients, their worried family members, or anyone seeking information about the signs and symptoms of cancer, or how to reduce their risk of the disease. When not answering calls, the nurses are responding to enquiries online. If the phone lines are busy, callers can leave a message and a Cancer Nurse will call back as soon as possible. Further support includes video calls for those who want a face-to-face chat with an experienced cancer nurse. Our cancer nurses are available for video calls Monday to Friday. Please pre-book online and one of the nursing team will then be in contact by email with full instructions.

Confidential national helpline offering independent and professional support and guidance to the foster care community. Service open to everyone involved in foster care. The Helpline is the gatekeeper to the National Advocacy Service. Members are referred to the National Advocacy service by the Helpline Service. The helpline can also be accessed via the chat function on the IFCA website www.ifca.ie

We are the national charity dedicated to improving quality of life for people with skin disorders. Our Helpline facilitates a free call at an agreed time with a Dermatology Nurse Specialist who offers guidance about conditions such as psoriasis, eczema, rosacea and many other skin conditions. We promote skin health and the prevention of skin disease by providing support, up-to-date information, engaging in advocacy and by raising awareness. We run public events and support group meetings and publish patient booklets on common skin conditions.
