Muslim Youth Helpline

National helpline providing culturally sensitive support to Muslim youth. Free, non-judgmental emotional support and advocacy. Helpline volunteers respond to telephone calls from vulnerable and distressed young Muslims. The Team offer support and a listening ear and, where necessary, make referrals to specialist agencies and other special support service. Helpline staff can help with issues including relationships, abuse (sexual, physical, emotional), mental health problems, education and employment, social life and identity.

Provide support and information for people abused in childhood and runs a national freephone support line for adults, both male and female, who have suffered any type of abuse in childhood. This could be physical, sexual or emotional abuse or neglect. London based ongoing support group (face to face). Can also direct callers to local area support.

Confidential helpline offering information and emotional support for people with RA, their family, friends and colleagues. The Helpline staff staff are not medically trained, so are not able to give specific medical advice, however, they are trained to provide callers with the most current information, give emotional support, discuss the impacts RA has on work and relationships and help people understand more about the disease and the treatments available.

Further support includes information resources and videos, discussion forums, patient education meetings with talks from specialists, Natter Groups offering an opportunity to meet with others affected by NETs (patients, supporters, friends and family) and a free counselling service.
