Child Death Helpline

I heard of the Child Death Helpline when I saw a poster in my doctor’s surgery. I have had many bereavements in my life: two parents, two brothers, and a husband. But when I lost my son, nothing came close to the pain I felt. I was so grateful to the Child Death Helpline because I was able to connect with people who knew what I was feeling
When I spoke to Les on the helpline, I just knew I had to do something to contribute. The minute I started talking with Les, I felt like family. Included. I’m so proud to be part of that family, giving and receiving ongoing support. The team is amazing; they always have your back.
The training was impeccable. I do what I can to raise awareness. Dropping off leaflets and cards to prominent places. We are part of a special community, without which I wouldn’t have the confidence I have today. My son would be proud, as I am, to be a part of the Child Death Helpline. ❤️
