About the NCPS Workplace Supervision Hub
When work involves supporting others, having space to reflect makes a difference.
The NCPS Workplace Supervision Hub is a purpose-built platform, hosted by Paranimo and powered by Matchifi, that helps individuals find and connect with the right supervisor for their needs. It provides access to independent, external, non-clinical supervision.
It offers a confidential online space where your team can debrief and put down what they've been carrying before it affects their wellbeing or performance.
Delivered by NCPS registered supervisors, the Hub is set up for you, easily managed by you, and flexible to adapt to your organisation's needs.

Who is the NCPS? The National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society (NCPS) is a not-for-profit professional society for counsellors and psychotherapists in the UK. The NCPS maintains an Accredited Register recognised by the Professional Standards Authority (PSA), ensuring that all registered practitioners are competent, ethical, and safe to practise.
Who is Paranimo? Paranimo is a mental health counselling and supervision platform for individuals, organisations, and schools, helping people access the right support quickly and confidently.
How is this different from an EAP? The Workplace Supervision Hub gives you more control. Its flexibility means you can manage your budget and the number of sessions offered, and most importantly, your team members get to choose the supervisor they feel best suits their needs.
What is non-clinical supervision? Non-clinical supervision provides support for people working in roles that don't involve direct clinical care, but which may still require emotional support due to the nature of the work. It can enhance the quality of service delivery, support wellbeing and professional growth, and provide space for reflection.
What if a team member needs counselling instead? The Workplace Supervision Hub is not intended to provide, or replace, counselling or psychotherapy. If a supervisor has concerns about an employee's wellbeing, they will discuss this with the individual directly and signpost them to appropriate services. The supervisor is not able to offer this service directly.
How long is a session? All sessions are one hour long.
How many sessions will my staff need, and how often? This is entirely your choice. It will depend on the type and volume of calls your staff are handling, as well as your budget. You can set a monthly spending budget, a monthly session limit per team member, and an annual session limit per team member.
Is there a minimum spend or number of staff required to be eligible? Not at all! From small charities and helplines to larger organisations, all are welcome and everyone can benefit from the platform; it's designed to accommodate individual needs.
Do you offer clinical supervision for services with counsellors? Yes. The Workplace Supervision Hub can also facilitate 90-minute clinical supervision sessions. All our supervisors are clinically trained.
Do you offer group supervision? No, at this moment in time, group supervision is not available through the platform.
Will the employer receive feedback or reports about staff? No. Another benefit of the Workplace Supervision Hub is your staff can be confident that anything they say will remain confidential, and not be shared with colleagues or line managers.
How simple is the set-up process? With dedicated support from the NCPS team, set-up is straightforward. We create your scheme for you, then give you the controls to start supporting your team.
How long will the process take? From our initial meeting, to gaining ownership of your scheme, we anticipate taking 6 - 8 weeks, maybe sooner!
What is Matchifi? Matchifi is the name of the software, designed by Paranimo, upon which the platform runs. Joining the Workplace Supervision Hub, may mean you receive emails from support@matchifi.co.uk in order to assist set-up.
What is Stripe? Stripe is a payment platform and the industry standard for handling online payments securely. The Workplace Supervision Hub uses Stripe to process payments. A direct debit is also required, to allow refunds (for example, in the case of cancellations) to be handled automatically.
Who do I go to for support? In the first instance, please contact the NCPS directly with any queries you might have. If your query relates specifically to the technical functioning of the platform, we may direct you to Paranimo for further support.
For users (clients):
By proceeding with registration, I acknowledge and agree that supervision is distinct from therapy. I understand that my supervisor cannot provide me with counselling / psychotherapy, or other clinical support alongside or as part of the supervision service.
If a need for clinical support arises, I understand that I may be encouraged or advised to seek support from, or be referred to, an appropriately qualified and independent practitioner or service.
I understand that all sessions are confidential, and supervisors are unable to provide reports on any staff members using this service.
For supervisors:
By proceeding with registration, I acknowledge and agree that supervision I provide through this platform is separate from any clinical or therapeutic support.
If, during the course of supervision, a supervisee is identified as requiring clinical support, such as counselling / psychotherapy, I understand I cannot provide that clinical support or establish a separate therapeutic relationship with them.
Where appropriate, I will instead signpost or refer the supervisee to an appropriately qualified and independent practitioner, or service, for clinical support.
I understand that all sessions are confidential, and I am unable to provide reports on any staff members using this service.
For scheme managers:
By proceeding with registration, I acknowledge and agree that supervision is distinct from therapy. I understand that supervisors cannot provide counselling / psychotherapy, or other clinical support alongside or as part of this supervision service.
If a need for clinical support arises, I understand that the user may be encouraged or advised to seek support from, or be referred to, an appropriately qualified and independent practitioner or service.
I understand that all sessions are confidential, and supervisors are unable to provide reports on any staff members using this service.
