Volunteer Management
If your volunteers are the voice of your service, the first point of contact for people reaching out for help, then how you recruit, train and retain them matters enormously.
This course is designed for managers, coordinators and team leaders working in helpline and frontline phone support environments. You'll explore why people volunteer and what keeps them committed, before working through every stage of the volunteer journey: funding, recruitment, training, monitoring, recognition, retention and retirement. We also examine the risks involved in delivering volunteer programmes and how to manage them effectively.
By the end of the course, you'll have a clear, practical approach to managing volunteers.
