Support for seafarers
SeafarerHelp is a helpline operated by ISWAN, an international charity dedicated to the welfare of seafarers and their families no matter where they are in the world. SeafarerHelp is a free, multi-lingual service that works with other organisations around the world to help seafarers. The helpline team can deal with issues including unpaid wages, repatriation problems, contract problems, bullying, poor working conditions, health and personal welfare issues. All the main languages are spoken. ISWAN also administers the Seafarers Emergency Fund, produces health information for seafarers and undertakes research.
