Sexual abuse by family members

Confidential service providing emotional support for females who were raped and/or sexually abused/exploited as female children/teens by a member of their immediate or extended family. The helpline is currently a 24-hour answerphone plus emails can be sent to helpme@cisters.org.uk. Callers can leave a message or send an email. Care will be taken when responding. Male survivors may ring the helpline and will be signposted to other services as appropriate. For female intrafamilial survivors, CIS'ters offers a quarterly newsletter and peer-group emotional support. Also, host topic-based workshops for survivors and an annual healing weekend. A subsidized fee is charged for the annual weekend event. All meetings are held in Hampshire.
