The Learning Disability Helpline provides information and advice on issues that affect the life of people with a learning disability, their families, carers and supporters. The helpline provides information and advice on issues such as community care, money and benefits, mental capacity, diagnosis, employment for people with a learning disability, relationships, and special educational needs. Can signpost callers to relevant local organisations, and offer more in-depth casework where this is appropriate. Further support includes factsheets and other resources to support callers, including easy read material to support people with a learning disability.
